Notes from the PTA – ASA’s, Volunteers, Class Rep. email

ASA’s September 2016

Hi all.

The ASA’s provide a great opportunity for our children to learn and engage with their friends outside of normal school hours.  We are limited in who can run ASA’s for insurance reasons.  For someone to offer to run an ASA, they need to have insurance (public liability insurance) and are Garda vetted.  At the moment, the only people that meet this requirement are the school teachers.  However, if there are any parents that would like to run an ASA, you are Garda vetted and have your own public liability insurance, we’d love to hear from you.  So please drop an email to lecheileptaasa@gmail.com and we will reach out and see if we can work to extend our ASA offering.

Hi all.

The book fair is due to take place on 03/04/05 Mar 2016.  We are looking for some parents to volunteer in setting up and running the book fair.  Its great fun and very rewarding to see all the children exploring the new adventures the books at the book fair will offer them.  It would only be for a few hours.  If you can assist on any of the days, please contact lecheilejunior1@gmail.com

The ASA administration is a great opportunity for parents to get involved with actively supporting the school.  The kids love to see their parents get involved and the ASA administration is a bi-annual time bound task that we are currently looking for a parent to shadow for September 2016.  If you are interested, please contact lecheilejunior1@gmail.com
