September in 4th Class

Welcome back to school everybody! We have had a very busy September in 4th Class.

We really enjoyed creating mascots for our Erasmus+ plus project. We worked hard creating friendly characters who could represent all the countries and their myths and legends. Our work was really great. Some of these mascots will be taken to Romania in October and one might be chosen as the overall mascot for the project called ‘Magic and Myths Unite Europe’. We also painted heroes and villains for our Erasmus+ Heroes and Villains collage.

We had great fun using the school laptops to play maths games. We also did some research on tourist attractions in Co. Meath and learned about the country of Slovenia.

In P.E we played benchball, basketball and soccer.

In Art we painted Autumn leaves and trees. In music we learned the songs ‘Beidh Aonach Amarach’ and ‘Walking on Sunshine’.
