When the sun shines

We have been learning about shadows in 2nd Class this week. We explored both opaque and transparent items and the shadows they create. We also looked at how to make shadows bigger or smaller and how the time of day can affect shadows.

We headed out to the yard on Friday to explore the shadows we create but unfortunately, the sun didn’t oblige!

Thankfully today was optimum conditions to view our shadows on yard.

We also made the most of the beautiful weather and had some fun and games while we were outside😊
