Hula-Hoop-A-Thon!
The Fund Raising Committee is delighted to announce that this year’s sponsorship card event will be a “Hula-Hoop-A-Thon”.
This will be a full day event co-ordinated by the teachers of the school and volunteers. We will have a professional Hula-Hoop teacher there who will give the children hula-hooping lessons and then they will have an opportunity to see how long they can hula-hoop for. This will be done between the hall and the senior yard. As per all our large in-school events, a time table will be set up in conjunction with the teachers and all the classes will participate at an age appropriate level. For those who may not take to hula-hooping, we will also have cheerleading option as an alternative.
This will be an all-inclusive fun day for our Le Chéile Community and volunteers would be most appreciated. Please make contact with us beforehand on the email address below if you’re available to help out on the day.
This exciting event is scheduled for Monday 19th June in the school grounds.
All families of the school are being issued with a sponsorship card and should you require more cards they are available at the front office.
We are looking for parents to volunteer on the day from 09h30 onwards. If you can volunteer for any amount of time during the day, please contact FRC on email below or send your class rep a Whatsapp message with your name and time you can help out from/to. These days are always lots of fun and it’s great to be part of it. We are also ‘Desperately Seeking an MC’ – if you can bring some fun to the mic and keep the day rolling, please do let us know (as above), even if it’s for a couple of hours. Much appreciated!
