Another busy term in 2nd Class

We had yet another busy,productive and fun filled term in 2nd Class. This month alone we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge and we all tried our best to use  all the phrases we’ve been learning this year. I know lots of the children were making a big effort to speak a little Gaeilge at home too! For the school concert we performed  “Micillín Muc”.

We also completed our RIAM recorder Award in March.  This was a very exciting experience where each child played as a group and individually on their recorders.

Today we took part in some paper weaving to create our very own Easter baskets (very handy for carrying chocolate!).
