Christmas Market – Call for Volunteers

Christmas Market – Sunday November 29th
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Fundraising Committee would be grateful for any help however big or small given on the day of the event or in helping with the preparation for the event.
Help is needed in the following areas (this list is certainly not exhaustive and I am sure much more will be added to it)
*Preparing the Le Chéile school hall, on Saturday 28th by setting out stalls, decorating etc.
*Preparing Santa’s Grotto (we could do with a few Elves on the day )
*Providing Christmas Decorations
*Setting up the Le Chéile Christmas Café and/or manning the same
*Preparing Christmas hampers from donations hopefully provided by the school community
*Manning some of the stalls set up by the Fundraising committee
*Selling raffle tickets on the day
*Calendar collection and sales
The Fundraising Committee will hold a “Volunteer Meeting” in the school at 8:30pm on Monday night Nov. 23rd where we will go through everything in detail and you can give an indication as to what you anticipate you would be able to assist with. Do not worry if you cannot attend, you can still volunteer!
If you know of any other parents who would like to assist please will you pass on my details and ask them to email me and/or come along to the meeting.
This is the first time a Christmas market has been attempted at the school and as always any helpful suggestions are much appreciated.
We are all really excited by this project and we are hoping it will be a successful school community event.
