January and February in Fourth Class
We had great fun in January and February in Fourth Class. Early in January we had a rehearsal for our Peace Proms concert and then in February we went to the RDS in Dublin for the concert. We all really enjoyed it. It was a great experience and we could see all the time we spent singing, learning song words and rehearsing dance moves had really paid off.
Another exciting event in our class was a visit from three gerbils – Bolt, Sweep and Pablo. Their visit was a great surprise, but we loved having them. We learned how to take care of Gerbils and saw how they make great pets. Some of us were even brave enough to hold them. We want to say a big Thank You to Rebecca’s dad for bringing them in.
In February we also enjoyed doing Projects on ‘Where I Live’ . It was really interesting to research our own areas and learn some local history. Did you know that the Tara Brooch was found on Bettystown Beach?
Our class participated in RTE’s 10 @ 10. We danced to Go Noodle for 10 minutes! It was great exercise and great fun
