October 2015
Hi all. It’s our next adventure. Can you be part of it?
“The Le Chéile Christmas Market”
Of course it is way too early to mention the festive season UNLESS the Christmas Market scene is part of the line of business you are in, OR an area you are thinking of exploring this year. If so, please read on. If not, read on anyway and find out what we are getting up to.
The event will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 29th of November between 2pm and 6pm. There will be several festive fun stalls run by ourselves on the FRC where folk will get a chance to win PRIZES! There is a Wheel of Fortune planned where people can spin their luck and win MORE PRIZES! And raffles galore where you will be able to win EVEN MORE PRIZES! It’s hoped to have some seasonal music from The Le Chéile school choir and the Le Chéile Christmas Cafe will also be on hand to serve up festive treats and cosy warm drinks. Also word has it that the big man in red will be on hand to receive visitors and collect letters to bring back to the North Pole. (Wouldn’t it be nice to get that sorted)
There is lots more planning to do but now we need to find our market stall exhibitors. So are you in a business that would really benefit from the opportunity of having a stand at the Le Chéile Christmas Market? We are hoping to have all sorts of exhibitors covering all sorts of crafts including accessories, woodcrafts, jams and preserves, prints, jewellery, knitted goods, plants, wreaths, candles, beauty products, wood craft, baked goods etc. We have already had enquiries from folk with Christmas gift ideas and fancy goods, photography, a host of arts & craft produce as well as parents connected with complementary holistic therapy and personal well being who see this as an opportunity to sell Christmas gift vouchers. We really want to make this a great opportunity for visitors to get their Christmas shopping done!
We are keen to see how much we, as a school community, can provide before we open it up to our wider community so we have given ourselves our first deadline of the 4th of November to see how much of our list we can fill. If you would like to reserve an exhibit space or find out more, please contact us via the email above. Equally, if you have even more ideas which we haven’t covered or thought of, please let us know via the email. We will be following up on all enquires right the way through the midterm break and will do our best to answer any questions.
We know every time you help us that you volunteer your time and that can take a bit of organising on its own so we really do appreciate all the support you continue to show us. Thank you.
The FRC.
