March in Fourth Class
March was a very active month in Fourth Class. We started our Dance classes with Jacinta. We learned 8 great dances based on the countries we are partnered with in our Erasmus+ project. As well as dancing we learned about some of the traditional clothes from these countries. The music and dance is great and we all really enjoyed taking part .
We also started taking part in Gaelic Blitzes this month. We all went to Colmcille’s to play or support our teams. Have a look at some of our photos below
Of course in March we also celebrated World Book Day. We did paired reading with Senior Infants. We really enjoyed working with them. We dressed up as our favourite book characters and decorated potatoes so they looked like our book heroes.
For Art we made Mother’s Day cards
Bhaineamar an taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge. Chanamar ‘The cup Song’ as gaeilge.
