Senior Infants are hard at work!
Senior infants have been doing terrific work since September. We’ve been learning a lot about Autumn and even went on a lovely nature walk and collected some horse chestnut, oak and sycamore leaves. Our nature tables are looking great!
We are doing lots of exciting play, literacy and numeracy stations in school this year. We are getting really good at sharing and working with our friends. This month we’ve been learning all about homes. We designed and made some fantastic houses from blocks and recyclable materials.
We’ve been playing lots of Maths games and activities like snap, pegboards and ‘Who am I?’ to help us learn more about shapes. We’ve just finished reading ‘Oh No Zeb!’ in English and we’re already busy learning words for our next story ‘Lost’. Take a look at Julie’s class doing super work writing some of their important tricky words.
