Thank You

The staff and I are delighted to have taken delivery of our new laptops, visualisers, and projectors. We also have Wi-Fi, at last! We don’t know ourselves with the efficiency and effectiveness of the new hardware and connectivity.

A huge thank you is due to the very hard working Fundraising Committee. They have raised almost €6,000 this year. A fantastic achievement! And we all had so much fun in the process at the Quiz night, with the Christmas goodies and most recently, at the Art Exhibition.

Thanks especially to Fiona, Brenda, Jackie, Lorraine, Isolde and Silvia of the Fundraising Committee who were the brains behind all the events. A big thanks also is due to the many other parents who lent a hand to make the events the successes they were. Fiona and Brenda will be hanging up their boots at the end of the year as their youngest children leave us. I cannot imagine what sum of money they have raised over the years between them! Thank you both so much. All of the children have benefitted so much from your input. We will miss you next year.

Thanks also must go to Elaine, our teacher and IT coordinator, who has actively ensured that all the above took place in the school. She has worked tirelessly liaising with the Board of Management, staff and Adam, our IT technician.

It is important to mention that all schools have been in receipt of IT grants also which are coming into the schools over a phased period of a number of years, in an effort to digitise teaching and learning in schools. So, we are working on further plans. But we will be in touch about that in due course!
