World Book Day
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go”
(Dr. Seuss)
It was World Book Day on the 2nd March and in celebration, a lot of boys and girls in Le Chéile dressed up as their favourite book character. Greg Heffley, Heidi, wizards and Pippi Longstocking, to mention a few were all spotted. That boy with the famous scar also made a few appearances! At 11:30 all the pencils were dropped and lots of reading could be heard throughout the school as older children paired up with younger children. Discussions centred around well known authors, illustrations, favourite characters and funny parts within the books. All the children thoroughly enjoyed it!
