This exciting project involved the children working on many different skills: research, maths, art, communication, co-operation, compromise, negotiation, and social skills to name but a few.
Each child was required to research a product which they had to present to the class. The presentation had to include a demonstration or a clear oral account as to how the product could be made in class. Raw materials had to be priced and a cost and selling price per unit was to be included in the sales pitch to the class. Classes were then surveyed before products were chosen and priced.
Below are some pictures of the children making their presentations:

Our Reward :
We spent a day in the leisureplex playing football and bowling 🎳.
We decided to donate to the Killian Coffee Morning Fund because Killian was, is and always will be a LeCheile boy. He was our friend. We dedicate our first ever business venture to you Killian.
(Apologies to any child who wished to be included in this blog but was absent when photos were being taken).
