The BOM acknowledged that the new principal is to start 13th march 2020.
A community rep still needs to be appointed to complete the new BOM.
The PTA proposal for whole-school Cyber Bullying training was agreed upon by the BOM. This will involve professionals from Cyberwise addressing children, staff, and parents in a whole-school approach.
It was agreed by the BOM that smart watches are not allowed in school. The current mobile phone policy is to be updated to include this.
An alternative way of children walking to and from the bus bay was discussed by the BOM. This is to be piloted shortly. Currently, a representative from the Road Safety Authority is looking at the situation and a report is to follow shortly with recommendations on how to improve the situation.
