April and May have been very busy months in 4th Class. We have been working with Jacinta to compose our dance – a medley of dance from our eight Erasmus+ partners. We worked on Greece, Cyprus and Ireland. It was great fun and we enjoyed every minute especially performing for our parents and again for our Erasmus visitors in May.
Also in April and May we continued our GAA blitzes in Colmcilles. We really enjoyed taking part in this sporting event.
For our Erasmus+ visit in May we focused on the country Turkey we enjoyed learning about this country and doing art based on what we learned.
The Erasmus visitors came to our classroom. We were able to ask them questions about their schools in the different countries. we showed them our fidget spinners and how to bottle flip!!
Also in May we started learning about school in the past. we invited some of our grandparents in to tell us about their experience of school in the past. We loved having our grandparents come to visit. They all seemed to love school when they were young.
