Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is to notify you that from September 1st the Tacu-Text system of texting messages home will cease. This is because of dissatisfaction with the system on grounds of cost and the complications caused by the fact that not everybody has signed up to it.

Instead the school is adopting another system, paid for by the school. By using the Aladdin system, the school’s administrative system, each parent or family will be notified of the relevant information, at no cost. It will also reduce the need to send the same number of notes home, a lot of which go astray!

The mobile phone number of every parent and guardian is currently stored in this system. If you do not have a mobile phone or if for some reason, you do not wish to be included in the messaging service please let us know. We will put in place a system of sending you a note instead, when possible.

We hope this means of communication will give us an improved service, to the satisfaction of more people.
