Happy New Year!

Claire Kelly Class Blog Class Blog

Athbhliain faoi Mhaise Daoibh!

We are delighted to welcome all the great boys and girls in second class back to school. They worked so hard during the first term and took part in many great learning activities.

We enjoyed presenting Show and Tell to our classmates, had great fun taking home Flat Stanley, made wonderful creations using our Junk Art resources, showed off our many wonderful talents in our class talent show (including a very interesting rendition of Romeo and Juliet), took part in G.A.A, tennis and recorder lessons; and not forgetting our wonderful performance in the Christmas Concert.

Rinne sibh obair iontach ar fad! Maith sibh!

As part of the S.E.S.E. curriculum we learned about homes from all around the world. We then got a chance to build some homes of our own. The lesson was all about team work, communication, getting creative and having fun! Can you guess which country each house is from?

We also had some award winners in our class – “Players Player of the Year” East Meath United and great success in the Karate League Finals. Well done boys – we are all very proud of you.

A little peep into some of the highlights of 6th class so far! Exciting Times: 10@10
