October in 4th Class
October was a great month in 4th Class. We all did projects about Romania and learned about lots of different things in the country, such as the food they eat and the wild animals they have there. We had a Romania day, where we dressed in the colours of the Romanian flag, or in traditional Romanian clothes. We presented our projects to Nicola Dempsey’s Second Class and even had some traditional Romanian Gingerbread.
In art we looked at Autumn colours, and made lots of Autumn pictures. We also made some Aztec suns.
In Music we started to learn our songs for the PeaceProms including the Pop Medley and the Annie Medley. We learned to sing UpTown Funk as gaeilge.
In P.E we started our tennis lessons. They are super fun.
Eoin made a wonderful board game called ‘Leprechauns and Fairies’ for our Erasmus+ project. This will be taken to Sicily, where children from the school in Italy will have a go playing it!
